Recap: Pioneer Valley Panthers vs. Morro Bay Pirates
The Pioneer Valley Panthers won the last time they faced the Morro Bay Pirates, and things went their way on Friday too. Pioneer Valley managed a 53-49 win over Morro Bay. The win made it back-to-back wins for Pioneer Valley.
Inderveer Toor was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Pioneer Valley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elias Giddings, who scored 14 points.
Pioneer Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Morro Bay, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pioneer Valley will take on Paso Robles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morro Bay, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cabrillo at 6:30 p.m.
