Basketball Recap: Joliet Takes a Loss

Joliet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 78-9 loss at the hands of the Sweet Grass County Sheepherders. While losing is never fun, the J Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Sheepherders are ranked 25th).

Joliet's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Sweet Grass County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Shepherd the next time they take the court. Joliet will host Shepherd at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Sweet Grass County will host them at 4:00 p.m. on February 8th.
