On Monday Susquehanna Valley's undefeated season almost came to an end. They never let the Chenango Valley Warriors get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The one-run effort marked the Sabers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Susquehanna Valley pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Chenango Valley, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.

Susquehanna Valley and Chenango Valley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. The Sabers (ranked ninth) will meet Union-Endicott (ranked 270th) at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Chenango Valley will challenge Chenango Forks at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (115 vs. 561).
