Chilton was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in 1A-2 Region III District 12. Earlier in the week, the Pirates triumphed over Normangee 28-8.
Bremond's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cade Grych has thrown for 539 yards and one touchdown this season, while Harrison Hull has 18 catches for 281 yards. Denovious Scaggs leads the league in rushing with 330 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Bremond takes on the Panthers. At the moment, the Tigers are in first, while Normangee is in fourth.
Lovelady made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,375 from 10,680. The improvement came about via a 34-18 victory over the Lions last week.
