Basketball Recap: Dunlap Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Dunlap was the 58-51 winner over Jacksonville when they last played one another back in November of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Crimsons by a score of 64-61 on Friday. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Crimsons 22-14 in the first quarter.

Jacksonville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Masen Johnson, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 21 points. Those 21 points gave Johnson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Troy Defrates, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

Dunlap's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Dunlap won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Marion at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Jacksonville, they will square off against Lincoln at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
