Basketball Game Preview: Wiregrass Kings vs. Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors

The Wiregrass Kings just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wiregrass is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Wiregrass is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against East Central HomeSchool on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Wiregrass was outmatched by East Central HomeSchool and fell 56-5. The Kings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-3.

Avery Barnes was Wiregrass' leading scorer, having posted five points. Delayne Benton held things down on the boards with three rebounds.

Meanwhile, Tuscaloosa Home Educators was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 39-38 to Tabernacle. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Torches recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Wiregrass' defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
