Recap: Clarke County Bulldogs vs. Jackson Aggies
The Clarke County Bulldogs lost against the Jackson Aggies last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Clarke County was outmatched by Jackson on the road and fell 76-45. Clarke County has not had much luck with Jackson recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Jackson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Micah Caster out in front who scored 23 points along with eight assists and five steals. That's the first time this season that Caster posted eight or more assists. Keeyun Chapman was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Clarke County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Jackson, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarke County will square off against Choctaw County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Choctaw County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Saturday. As for Jackson, they will head out on the road to face off against Leroy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
