Football Game Preview: Blue Ridge vs. South Aiken

South Aiken and Blue Ridge are set to face off this Friday at 7:30 PM. South Aiken is cruising in on a six-game winning streak while Blue Ridge is stumbling off of three losses in a row.

South Aiken was able to grind out a solid victory over Orangeburg-Wilkinson two weeks ago, winning 35 - 21. Junior running back Chris Roberts deserves a lot of the credit as he ran for 119 yards and also punched in one touchdown. Roberts has been a consistent playmaker for South Aiken as this was the 6th good game in a row from him. Meanwhile, Blue Ridge was outplayed 49 - 6 in its contest against Greer three weeks ago.

Blue Ridge's defeat dropped it to 2-9 while South Aiken's win brought it to 9-1. A win for Blue Ridge would reverse both its bad luck and South Aiken's good luck. We'll see if Blue Ridge manages to pull off that tough task or if South Aiken keeps its momentum going instead.
