Basketball Recap: Olathe Northwest Victorious

Olathe Northwest won the last time they faced Seaman and things went their way on Friday too. The Olathe Northwest Ravens escaped with a win against the Seaman Vikings by the margin of a single free throw, 46-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Ravens.

Olathe Northwest's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jj Lee, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. That's the most boards Lee has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Lewis, who posted seven points and six rebounds.

Olathe Northwest smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive matches.

Olathe Northwest's record now sits at 8-2. As for Seaman, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Olathe Northwest has already played their next contest, a 59-50 defeat against Blue Valley on the 25th. As for Seaman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-55 win against Valley Center on the 25th.
