Basketball Recap: Madison Country Day Takes a Loss

Madison Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 58-49 to St. Ambrose Academy. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Madison Country Day of the 47-42 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Madison Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for St. Ambrose Academy, their win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-17.

Coincidentally, Madison Country Day and St. Ambrose Academy will both be playing Abundant Life the next time they take the court. Madison Country Day will host Abundant Life at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while St. Ambrose Academy will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
