Thunderbird entered their tilt with Marana on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Sophia Frandsen paced Thunderbird's offense, picking up 15 kills. Frandsen got some help from Cecelia Bouchard and her 15 assists.

Thunderbird's record now sits at 18-12. As for Marana, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 21-10 record.

Thunderbird has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Goldwater on the 20th. As for Marana, they will take on Sunnyside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
