Baseball Recap: Conrad Comes Up Short

Conrad extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 7-14. They lost 13-1 to the North Dallas Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-1 on Tuesday.

As for North Dallas, they pushed their record up to 19-7-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games.

For North Dallas' part, they got a massive performance out of Kenyerber Rivas, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Issac Rodriguez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Conrad does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Dallas, they will head out to face off against Alvarado at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 3.3, the Indians 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
