Basketball Recap: Middlesex Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Metuchen, Middlesex was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They strolled past the Calvary Christian Lions with points to spare, taking the game 78-60. Given the Bluejays' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 164th, while the Lions are ranked 404th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Middlesex's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Calvary Christian, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Middlesex has already played their next matchup (against Kennedy Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Calvary Christian has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Metuchen.
