Baseball Recap: Indy Genesis HomeSchool Gets the Win

Indy Genesis HomeSchool saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They came out on top against Tennessee Heat by a score of 6-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indy Genesis.

The team relied heavily on Gabe Barnes, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Davin Althoff was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Indy Genesis HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Tennessee Heat, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Indy Genesis HomeSchool will square off against Indianapolis Kings at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Indy Genesis 3, Indianapolis Kings 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Tennessee Heat does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
