Meadow Heights is a perfect 9-0 against Marquand-Zion since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Panthers will head out to square off against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Meadow Heights has three straight wins, Marquand-Zion has 14 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Thursday, Meadow Heights got the win against Crystal City by a conclusive 3-0.

Meadow Heights was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Mandie Kent, who had 19 digs.

Meanwhile, Marquand-Zion came up short against Eagle Ridge Christian last Thursday, falling 3-0.

Marquand-Zion was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 25-13.

Marquand-Zion's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Meadow Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 17-6.

Meadow Heights took their win against Marquand-Zion in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
