Mill Creek waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over the West Forsyth Wolverines. Considering the Hawks have won four contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mill Creek got a great performance from Kenzie Fitch as she struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits (and not a single walk).

On the hitting side, Ava Brookshire was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Blair McClain, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.

Mill Creek was hitting in the alleys and finished the game with five doubles. That's the most doubles they've earned since back in September of 2023.

Mill Creek's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for West Forsyth, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
