Soccer Game Preview: West Plains vs. Perryton

The West Plains Wolves will challenge the Perryton Rangers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

West Plains' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Hereford 5-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Wolves considering their one-goal performance the game before.

They hit Hereford with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jaiden Cervantes (2), Jessie Estrella, Christopher Navarrete, and Benjamin Williamson.

Meanwhile, Perryton's and Canyon's match on Tuesday was close at halftime, but Perryton turned on the heat in the second half with eight goals. Perryton was the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over Canyon. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rangers considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

West Plains' win bumped their record up to 7-2-1. As for Perryton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
