After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Elgin, Temple Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Upper Scioto Valley Rams with a sharp 3-0 win. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Pioneers yet this season.

Temple Christian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-18.

Temple Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. After both having extra time off, Temple Christian and Hardin Northern will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Polar Bears will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Pioneers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they will face off against Elgin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
