Baseball Recap: Eugene Comes Up Short

Eugene was the 3-2 winner over Belle when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 7-4 to the Tigers on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Belle, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Eugene wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 19-0 win against Smithton on the 4th. As for Belle, they have also already played their next game, a 14-2 victory against Steelville on the 4th.
