Nipmuc Regional had won five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped their record up to 11-1 to make it six. Everything went their way against the Bellingham Blackhawks as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Blackhawks: they've now won four in a row.

Myles Guikema paced Nipmuc Regional's offense, picking up 12 kills. Guikema got some help from Dolan Comforti and his 26 assists. Comforti was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

As for Bellingham, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. They have struggled against Nipmuc Regional recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Despite the loss, Bellingham saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lucas Lahousse had nine digs.

Nipmuc Regional didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Norton on the 5th. As for Bellingham, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Norwood on the 5th.
