Basketball Recap: Stuart Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Stuart waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They managed a 47-42 win over the Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades. The Broncos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Renegades, too.

Several Renegades players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ella Moses, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Annabel Waldo, who went 5 of 9 en route to 10 points.

Stuart's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stuart will take on Osmond at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, they will square off against Boyd County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Chambers/Wheeler Central is facing Boyd County at the right time seeing as Boyd County is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
