Basketball Preview: Christian Academy Saints vs. Williamsburg Academy Stallions
Christian Academy is 5-0 against the Stallions since February of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Christian Academy Saints will look to defend their home court against the Williamsburg Academy Stallions at 6:00 p.m. Christian Academy will be strutting in after a victory while the Stallions will be coming in after a defeat.
On Friday, Christian Academy didn't have too much trouble with the Eagles at home as they won 30-12.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Williamsburg Academy, who are still winless after their eighth contest. They had to suffer through a rough 51-14 loss at the hands of Carolina Academy. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Williamsburg Academy in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now lost three in a row.
Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Williamsburg Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Christian Academy against the Stallions in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 42-0 win. Does Christian Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Stallions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
