Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Riverdale Ridge

Riverdale Ridge had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Greeley Central Wildcats. The Ravens have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-15.

Riverdale Ridge found their leader in sophomore Joseph Lee, who had 18 digs. Those 18 digs set a new season-high mark for Lee. Riley Lo was another key player, getting eight digs and five assists.

Riverdale Ridge's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-6. As for Greeley Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Riverdale Ridge will challenge rival Centaurus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Greeley Central is set to take on their familiar foe Niwot at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
