Softball Recap: Buckeye Valley Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Buckeye Valley and Highland squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Buckeye Valley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Fighting Scots by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Barons have suffered since April 17th.

Buckeye Valley's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-7. As for Highland, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-9.

Buckeye Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Highland, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-2 victory against London on the 15th.
