Basketball Recap: Madison Comprehensive Comes Up Short

Madison Comprehensive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 56-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Philadelphia Quakers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-32 back in January.

Madison Comprehensive's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for New Philadelphia, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Madison Comprehensive will venture away from home to take on Crestview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Philadelphia, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against John Glenn at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. John Glenn is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 71.1 points per game this season.
