Volleyball Recap: Weeping Water Indians vs. Falls City Tigers

Weeping Water was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Falls City Tigers. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Weeping Water had strong showings from Ella Huskey, who had 13 digs and ten assists, and Jaelis Brito- Diaz, who had four digs and two aces.

Weeping Water's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Falls City, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Weeping Water and Falls City will both be playing Freeman the next time they take the court. The Indians will host the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
