Softball Recap: West Blocton Takes a Loss

West Blocton's last matchup with American Christian Academy could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Monday. The Tigers lost 12-2 to the Patriots. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Tigers who fell 11-9 when the teams previously met back in March.

Jacey Register made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

West Blocton's defeat dropped their record down to 17-14-2. As for American Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-13-1 record this season.

As of now, neither West Blocton nor American Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
