South Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Westwood Panthers. Despite the loss, South Fork saw an underclassman step up: freshman Vivianna Morales dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 16 rebounds, and ten blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Morales has scored all season. Kylee Brooks was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.
Even though they lost, South Fork was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
