Basketball Recap: Abbeville Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Abbeville Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 64-14 loss at the hands of the Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors. The match marked the Generals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Abbeville Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Abbeville Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, they will head out to take on Terrell Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
