Basketball Recap: Skowhegan Has No Trouble Against Messalonskee

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lawrence, Skowhegan was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Messalonskee Eagles 52-27. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 40-34 back in December of 2024.

Skowhegan's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Messalonskee, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

Skowhegan has already played their next matchup (against Nokomis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Messalonskee and Lawrence will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Lawrence's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten games.
