Volleyball Recap: North Bend Central Comes Up Short

North Bend Central lost against Oakland-Craig back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lauren Sterup paced North Bend Central's offense, picking up five kills. Sterup got some help from Reese Petersen and her eight assists. Mia Beebe controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Oakland-Craig can attribute much of their success to Madeline Pearson, who had nine digs and two assists.

North Bend Central now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Oakland-Craig, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

North Bend Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Wayne on the 6th. As for Oakland-Craig, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Guardian Angels Central Catholic on the 6th.
