Basketball Recap: St. Paul Takes a Loss

After flying high against Runge last Tuesday, St. Paul came back down to earth. The St. Paul Cardinals came up short against the New Braunfels Thunder Homeschool on Thursday, falling 57-34. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Homeschool apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for New Braunfels Thunder, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

St. Paul has already played their next matchup, a 45-35 victory against Prairie Lea on the 12th. As for New Braunfels Thunder, they will head out to square off against Travis at 4:00 p.m. on December 20th.
