Basketball Recap: Keota Piles Up the Points Against Cardinal

Keota came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Cardinal Comets to the tune of 69-23. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Comets are ranked 335th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Keota pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points over those games. As for Cardinal, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

As of now, neither Keota nor Cardinal have any future games scheduled.
