Volleyball Recap: Westlake Christian Academy Gets the Win

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. Westlake Christian Academy walked away with a 2-0 win over Christian Life. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Westlake Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Westlake Christian Academy easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-8.

Josh C paced Westlake Christian Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. C got some help from Chris Q and his seven assists. C was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Westlake Christian Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Christian Life, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Westlake Christian Academy will welcome Christian Heritage Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Christian Life will be paying especially close attention to Westlake Christian Academy's game: after Westlake Christian Academy faces off against Trinity Oaks Christian Academy, they'll take on Christian Life again at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th.
