Volleyball Recap: Valley Center Comes Up Short

Valley Center managed to slip by Horizon Prep the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Jaguars came up short against the Lions on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Jaguars' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Valley Center took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-21.

Valley Center's loss dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Horizon Prep, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8.

Valley Center has already played their next match (against Ramona), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Horizon Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
