Basketball Recap: Hernando Comes Up Short

Hernando was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 79-66 to the Horn Lake Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (56), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

Hernando's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Horn Lake, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hernando is set to square off against their familiar foe Southaven at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Horn Lake will challenge rival DeSoto Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
