Baseball Recap: Barringer Takes a Loss

Barringer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 4-0 to the Verona Hillbillies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hillbillies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-3 on April 7th.

Barringer saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jose Rosa, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Barringer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Verona, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barringer will face off against Franklin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Verona, they will head out to challenge Shabazz at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
