Softball Recap: Hollidaysburg Comes Up Short

Hollidaysburg fell victim to Chestnut Ridge and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 13-0 to the Lions. The Golden Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Hollidaysburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Chestnut Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 8-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hollidaysburg is set to face off against their familiar foe Bellwood-Antis at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chestnut Ridge will challenge rival Forest Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 2.3, the Rangers 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
