Volleyball Recap: Pulaski Comes Up Short

Pulaski lost against Oconto Falls last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Pulaski was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16.

Addison Krueger paced Pulaski's offense, picking up five kills. Krueger got some help from Lola Wendland and her seven assists. Wendland was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Among those leading the charge was Rylie Shallow, who had nine digs and four aces.

Pulaski's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Oconto Falls, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4.

Pulaski didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran on the 20th. As for Oconto Falls, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Kiel on the 20th.
