Surry Central gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 57-25 victory over the South Stokes Sauras. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Golden Eagles had established a 22-point advantage.

Surry Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaycee Dalton, who shot 83% from the field en route to 11 points and seven steals. Dalton is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 67% in the last three games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Leonard, who posted seven points in addition to seven steals and six assists.

South Stokes dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Surry Central will venture away from home to take on South Iredell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Stokes, they will host West Stokes at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
