Lincoln hasn't had much luck against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. Lincoln will head out to challenge Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory at 9:30 a.m. Lincoln will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Last Thursday, Lincoln was able to grind out a solid victory over Galileo, taking the game 13-8.

Quincy Fong-McAdams and Jala Chi made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Fong-McAdams didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Chi tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. At bat, Fong-McAdams scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances, while Chi scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. Chi has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played.
In other batting news, Sofie Hwang and Brienna Tsui did most of the damage at the plate: Hwang scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Tsui scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. Allison Cruz also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They lost 8-2 to Encinal.
Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylen Edora, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
Lincoln pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.0 runs over those games. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Saturday. Lincoln has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.2 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4 strikeouts.
