Apollo Ridge won the last time they faced Carlynton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Vikings walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Apollo Ridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Stewart, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Zac Myers was another, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Apollo Ridge's record now sits at 5-8. As for Carlynton, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Apollo Ridge is set to challenge their familiar foe Brentwood at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Carlynton will take on rival South Side at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
