Basketball Game Preview: Northside Eagles vs. Northside Patriots

The Northside Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Northside Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

The Eagles are headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since February 14, 2025 on Saturday. They were beaten by the Demons 63-31. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Eagles' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Meanwhile, the Patriots were not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-37 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tigers.

The Patriots' loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for the Eagles, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.

The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Patriots in their previous matchup back in December of 2025, sneaking past 43-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
