With a playoff win on the line, Woodlawn rose to the challenge on Monday. They breezed past the Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes to the tune of 99-50. The Cardinals' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Zeigler-Royalton still got an impressive performance from River Freeman, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 34% of Zeigler-Royalton's points, marking the third time in a row Freeman has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Lucas Rogers, who to rack up 16 points and five boards.

Woodlawn's record is now 19-12. As for Zeigler-Royalton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-22 record this season.
