Serrano lost against Riverside Prep back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Serrano Diamondbacks came up short against the Riverside Prep Silver Knights, falling 21-3. The Diamondbacks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Serrano's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Riverside Prep, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Serrano will face off against Oak Hills at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Serrano has given up an average of 8.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Riverside Prep, they will square off against Claremont at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
