Baseball Recap: Laguna Beach Continues Road Dominance on Monday

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Monday as neither Laguna Beach nor Laguna Hills made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Breakers had just enough and edged out the Hawks 3-2. This was payback for the Breakers, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Laguna Beach saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Arrasin, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Laguna Beach pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Laguna Hills, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9.
