Basketball Recap: Orangewood Christian Takes a Loss

Orangewood Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 61-10 defeat at the hands of the Forest Lake Academy Panthers. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-3.

Braelyn Isidro had a dynamite game for Forest Lake Academy, almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine steals. Isidro also posted a block, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Brooke Maynard, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 boards.

Orangewood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Forest Lake Academy, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Orangewood Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-15 win against Trinity Christian Academy on the 23rd. Forest Lake Academy has also already played their next contest, a 49-32 defeat against Foundation Academy on the 23rd.
