After a string of six wins, Menlo-Atherton's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They and the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Bears happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Their goal came courtesy of Tomer Jacobs, which was the first he's scored this season.

With that draw, Menlo-Atherton's record moves to 6-0-2. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, they moved theirs to 1-2-3.

Menlo-Atherton wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 7-0 win against Terra Nova on the 10th. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Bellarmine College Prep on the 8th.
