Softball Recap: Monroe Cheesemakers vs. Jefferson Eagles
Monroe had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 13-6 to make it four. They fell just short of the Jefferson Eagles by a score of 4-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on Monday.
Monroe saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fiona Junk, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Junk has hit this season.
