Basketball Recap: Callisburg Takes a Loss

Callisburg lost against Whitesboro back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Callisburg Wildcats took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whitesboro Bearcats.

Callisburg dropped their record down to 16-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Whitesboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Callisburg will face off against Boyd at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Callisburg is facing Boyd at the right time seeing as Boyd is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Whitesboro, they are taking a road trip to face off against Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Madison will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Whitesboro surely won't give up without a fight.
